I am Spanish and for professional reasons I have lived for over 14 years in Belgium and Sweden.

These years have brought with them many valuable and enriching exchanges. I have enjoyed the opportunity to live in a multicultural environment, to meet people from all over the world, to learn new languages and ways of looking at things, to discover new ingredients and ways of cooking them.

I currently live in Brussels with my husband and our three children.

My professional experience lies in Management and Business Administration, both in Spain and in England. I hold an MBA from Spain, as well as a degree in Marketing Management from Belgium and I have worked for the multinational brands MasterCard, Peugeot and Atlas Copco.

I have always been interested in a healthy lifestyle and nutrition. It has become intuitive, governed primarily by a desire to nourish my family, friends and those around me, so I decided to switch my focus and train both comprehensively and holistically this area.

I followed my first Nutrition and Cooking course over ten years ago in Belgium, led by Leila Strebelle, who concentrated on food as a healer (raw food, whole grains, sprouted grains, anti-inflammatory foods) and how to build a sustainable relationship with healthy food and the way it's cooked (raw, steamed, low temperature cooking).

Pol Gregoire has been one of my main references. He has taught me about food as a healer and as a support, in avoiding or mitigating disease through delicious and healthy recipes which I would like to share.

Other courses I have completed have been led by Teresa Fernández-Gil, a graduate from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York. Teresa has been, and still is, one of my greatest inspirations and she fills me with positive energy. The main goal of these courses has been to build a sustainable relationship with food and to understand the impact food has on our bodies, together with the importance of a healthy lifestyle.

All these experiences led ultimately to the wish to qualify professionally in my passion around healthy food and its benefits.

My lovely husband and friends pushed me to study further and I completed a course in Health Counselling at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where I trained in more than one hundred dietary theories and studied a variety of practical lifestyle coaching methods.

One of my greatest pleasures in life is travelling with my family and I enjoy when we find an open-air market and we can see the selection of beautiful, fresh and local colourful fruit and vegetables!

I received my diploma as Health Coach from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition's cutting-edge training programme.

During my training, I studied over 100 dietary theories, practical lifestyle management techniques, and innovative coaching methods with some of the world’s top health and wellness experts. My teachers included Dr. Andrew Weil, Director of the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine; Dr. Deepak Chopra, leader in the field of mind-body medicine; Dr. David Katz, Director of Yale University’s Prevention Research Center; Dr. Walter Willett, Chair of Nutrition at Harvard University; Geneen Roth, bestselling author and expert on emotional eating and many other leading researchers and nutrition authorities.

My education has equipped me with an extensive understanding of holistic nutrition, health coaching, and preventive health methods.  

Drawing on these skills and my knowledge of different dietary theories, I work with clients to help them establish lifestyle changes that produce real and lasting results and help them to create a personalized 'roadmap to health' that best suits their individual bodies, lifestyles, preferences and goals.

WHAT IS MY EXPERIENCE NUTRITION AND HEALTH COACH?

As a Health Professional Coach, I have focused my work on three different areas.
 
PRIVATE CONSULTATION

My aim as a Health Coach is to guide and share with my clients the information they need to discover the nutrition and lifestyle choices that best support them in providing optimum health, increased energy levels and reduced stress.

Most approaches to nutrition focus on calories, carbs, fats and proteins, or on restrictions and food 'black lists'. My method, however, is different: I coach my clients to create a happy, healthy lifestyle that is unique, flexible, fun and free from deprivation.
No single diet works for everyone.

 

COMMUNITY NUTRITION AND HEALTHY COOKING WORKSHOPS

I organize Nutrition and Healthy Cooking Workshops where the group studies key facts about the kinds of foods which will boost their family's energy and vitality, learning new recipes and fresh ideas and introducing organic and seasonal ingredients in to their diet.

The aim is to discover the beneficial mechanisms surrounding nutrition and how to avoid illness by eating 'clean' and healthily, introducing natural foods, reducing inflammation and detoxifying the body. They discover cooking methods and ideas which best supporting them in strengthening their digestive system and boosting their immunity for a healthier life.

I’ve led workshops about nutrition at the International School of Brussels, teaching the students how important it is to eat healthily for improving their concentration and academic achievements. 

 

DETOXIFYING CLEANSES

These cleanse and detoxification programs focus on removing the stored toxins which harm the body and mind and which then heal and revitalize the digestive and immune system. These programs can also identify and sometimes overcome allergies, enabling a smoother digestion.

There are many benefits that can be added to your health and lifestyle by changing only a few routines. You will feel great inside and out!
